After you click on the PLAY arrow in the Livecage dialog box it will display a red OFFLINE for a moment then it will change to a green ONLINE. Sometimes there is no activity, so you will not hear anything, but keep listening and you will hear fire dept. radio transmissions. If the system is offline it will continue to show OFFLINE and you will not hear any radio transmissions. Sometimes the LiveCage feed will show ONLINE, but will not have a green background and will not work while the Radio Reference feed is on. See above.

To use Live Chat:

1. Go to Livecage site (the link is below these instructions) and if you have not signed up you need to do that first -  In the top right hand corner click on "Sign up" and follow the instructions.

2. Once you are Signed up Livecage will notified you by email and then you can "Sign In".

3. Come back to this page and click: HERE

4. You will be able to monitor the scanner and use live chat at the same time.

HINT: Select LiveCage Feed to monitor the online scanners in the background while you do other things on your computer.  You can also have Radio Reference feed in the background while using your computer to do other things.  Click HERE for the External RR feed.
